OneLogin - Creating Multiple Shortcut Links for a Single SAML Application Using QuickLink Connector (4383362)

There is a requirement to provide multiple application links (app tiles) in the user App Portal, each focused on different user groups, but all of which direct to the same SAML-based application. Each link must appear as a separate app (for naming or usability purposes), while still leveraging a single underlying SAML application configuration.

Attempts to use direct SAML endpoint URLs or duplicate links do not produce the expected behavior or user experience.

To create multiple user-facing links that point to the same SAML application, use the QuickLink SP (GET) connector combined with the application’s deep link.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Applications in the OneLogin admin portal.
2. Select Add App.
3. Search for and select the QuickLink SP (GET) connector. 
4. Configure the new QuickLink app:
   • Provide a distinct name (e.g., representing different user groups or purposes).
   • Assign an appropriate icon.
5. Under the Access tab:
   • Assign the QuickLink app to the appropriate roles.
6. Under the Configuration tab:
   • Enter the deep link URL of the target SAML application (format:
     < https://yourdomain.onelogin.com/launch/yourSAMLappID >).

Save the configuration.

Repeat the process to create additional QuickLink apps as needed, each with a different name but pointing to the same deep link.
