In order to optimize network traffic and stability, OneLogin will cease support of Active Directory Connector (ADC) versions 4.2.9 and older after July 31, 2015. You should anticipate that unsupported versions will stop working on or shortly after that date.
Supported ADC versions:
4.2.10 and above (4.2.11, 4.2.12, etc)
Deprecated ADC versions:
Any version older than 4.2.10 (1.0 through 4.2.9)
To determine if you are using a deprecated AD Connector:
- Sign into your OneLogin account and go to Users > Directories.
- Open each Active Directory instance and view the version number of each ADC instance (including standby connectors).
If any ADC instance is at 4.2.9 or older, you must upgrade to the latest version:
- Click the ADC instance row to display instance details.
- Click the Download AD Connector or Update Connector button for the latest ADC version.
The Download button downloads an ADC installer.
You must uninstall the old ADC instance before running the new installer. Use the same ADC token that you used on the old ADC instance. For details on running the installer, see Installing the Active Directory Connector (ADC).
The Update Connector button is available only for recent ADC versions and initiates a remote upgrade process.
OneLogin provides no indicator of upgrade process status: wait 5 minutes and refresh the Connector Instances tab on your OneLogin Active Directory edit page to confirm that the version number has incremented to the latest version. This indicates that the remote upgrade process finished successfully.
If you need upgrade assistance or have a question, please contact OneLogin Customer Support through your OneLogin admin portal ( > Support).
