It would be great to be able to assign multiple roles per user. I'd like to create a set of logins for my test accounts that can be assigned to a test role, which I can in turn assign to anyone who needs access to them. Right now I need to duplicate the logins for each role.

Yes, that's a great use case. We actually have the feature on the roadmap and will get to it soon.
I agree, absolutely necessary to represent an actual organization with reasonable security.
I agree also, multiple roles makes a lot of sense, since it would enable more granular design of roles. The assumption being that a user with multiple roles results in a aggregation of the applications of those roles, but not duplications.
I can't but agree to that. It simplifies managing applications by creating a "base" role to which all users belong to and then assign extra roles for every user.
(I've mentioned this to the team, but figured it's add my support here....) Ditto. This will be pretty essential for us. Creating a role for each permutation won't work very well, but multiple roles per user will solve this.
Have you also thought about enabling apps on a per user basis (in addition to by roles)?
Just released today.
