Hi onelogin,
I think it would be great to have an export feature.
I am considering using this password manager for all of my personal things. The account was provisioned to me by my employer Diangy, but if they ever dis continued using the product I would want a way to export all of my "Personal" Passwords out or into another onelogin account.
Cheers,
iain

Hi Iain,
Good idea. We will actually have export features for both admins and regular users. But we are planning something even better, which will allow your personal logins to survive even if your employer ceases to use OneLogin.

Very cool : )
In that case, I will just starting using it for everything. Keep up the great work & thanks for the fast response!!

Export/Import will be an efficient way to 'hand-over' a solution set of SaaS applications for project clients.
The scenario being the assemble of a client solution project involving a set of applications. This would enable a delivery package so that clients were ready to go with the set-up of a new OneLogin account.
My concern is that if NELogin goes down, I am up the creek without a paddle. Hence, the export feature being needed.
I also just setup a test user and deleted them, to see if there was a recovery option. Looks like there is not. So one miss click and BAM, all those logins are lost. Right?
That being said, this is an awesome solution!
This coming Monday we should have a feature that allows you to export all company passwords.
I could not get the export feature to export all passwords. It only exported shared passwords for me (note even my own user passwords).
How can all passwords really be exported?
That feature is crucial for us as well.
The export feature is really NOT a good idea in large organisations. I can see the point for single user and for private apps but no-one should be able to see your password even if they are the administrators of the system. Passwords for company systems can always be reset by the admin and this is much more preferable to producing a CSV list that could fall into the wrong hands.
Can the export feature be limited to user ID only for company apps?
I cant think of a case where even the account owner would need to see another users password. The password of company apps should never be displayed even to the user who is logging in.
This is a deal breaker.
What is the difference between assuming another user and then exporting all her passwords (which one can do as an admin) and exporting all passwords as an admin right away?
Thanks,
Martin
