Your account with OneLogin, for example mycompany.com.

Audit trail

An audit trail logs all important activity in your account, such as login activity or blocked users.

App

Connector

A connector defines how OneLogin logs a user into an application, e.g. username/password or OpenID, the login URL, the icon etc. Unless you configure custom connectors, you don't need to understand this concept.

Group

A group is a collection of users, such as Sales and are used for delegating administration of users. For example, the head of Sales may be managing which apps the salespeople have access to.

A login defines a user's credentials for an app. For example, if a user has the role Sales and Sales has the apps Salesforce.com and WebEx, that user will have two logins; one for each app.

One-time password

A one-time password is a password that can only be used once. The advantage of one-time passwords is that even if an eavesdropper gets hold of it, it cannot be used again.

Policy

Policies define password requirements as well as which IP addresses a user, group or company can access OneLogin from.

Role

A role defines which apps a user of a given type has access to, for example Sales or Engineering (more).

User

A user is an individual in your organization, such as Peter or Maria.

User type

There are three different types of users: regular users, group admins and admins.
